The Aberdares Expedition

Day 1: (Friday, 18th October)
Meet up at Juja City Mall, 7am.
Leave Juja after the debrief and drive on the C67 to the Aberdares, avoiding Nakuru Hwy, and enter the park through Mutubio Gate. Possible short game drive before reaching Reedback Camp.

Day 2: (Saturday, 19th October)
Explore the waterfalls and areas south of the camp. (Karuru falls, Magura falls, Kiandongoro Forest, etc)

Day 3: (Sunday, 20th October)
Explore areas to the north of the camp. (Bamboo forest viewpoint, Wandare trail, Chania falls, Queen’s Cave etc)

Day 4: (Monday, 21st October)
Head back to Nairobi, leaving through the Wandare Gate via Nyeri town.

Please note this is a camping only trip. Unfortunately, the KWS Bandas had already been booked by others at the time of planning.
Thus, all explorers must be self sufficient on camping,food and water supplies.

Expect cold weather with possible showers. Thus warm and waterproof gear and clothing must be packed.
